NYREJ: Breslin Realty introduces two new transit-oriented developments – The Langdon and The Grand at Baldwin

Breslin Realty Development Corp. is constructing two multi-family mixed-use projects in Nassau County. These two transit-oriented developments (T.O.D.) entering the Long Island market have been positioned and designed to reinvigorate the landscapes of both “downtowns” of the Village of Lynbrook and the Baldwin Grand Ave. corridor.

Breslin Realty Dev. has begun construction for The Langdon in Lynbrook. A Breslin joint venture with Fields Grade Development, The Langdon is located across the street from the Lynbrook train station, a walk to Village Hall and the Village of Lynbrook’s main street, Atlantic Ave.

Currently under construction, The Langdon will be comprised of a 201-unit upscale, fully amenitized building, including one hundred percent covered parking in the building’s garage, concierge services, a health club, outdoor deck with barbecue and garden, a dog run, a dog spa, a co-work space, a lounge, gaming room and roof deck with views. The project will feature studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as an 1,800 s/f café on Bdwy.

The site has a 30–40-minute train ride to Penn Station or Grand Central Terminal, giving future residents access to New York City.

This transformative mixed-use project has been designed to pay respect to the village’s manufacturing past, while breathing new life into the former Mangrove Feather Factory site at 47 Bdwy. and the surrounding downtown.

Breslin Realty Dev. also shared plans to develop The Grand at Baldwin. This Breslin project will be a transformational beacon and serve as a key contributor to the revitalization of the Baldwin downtown corridor.

This 215-unit mixed-use development project is located at the intersection of Sunrise Hwy. between Grand Ave. and Harrison Ave., and is across the street from the Baldwin LIRR train station. Like The Langdon, this site is also walking distance of a 40-minute train ride into New York City’s Penn Station or Grand Central Terminal.

The Grand at Baldwin will feature 215 upscale apartment units in a finished building, complete with on-site covered parking and a amenity package, including a landscaped courtyard with outdoor kitchens, an on-site café, game room, fitness center, community kitchen & lounge, rooftop deck, dog run, and a pet spa. The ground floor level will contain a total of 5,000 s/f of commercial space both on Sunrise Hwy. and Grand Ave. and will be linked by an owner developed connective park.

With construction scheduled to commence in early 2025, The Grand will soon be a catalyst for the long-planned revitalization of the downtown area, marking a step for the Baldwin Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

Together, The Langdon and The Grand at Baldwin underscore Breslin Realty Dev.’s commitment to enhance community development on Long Island, while heralding its expansion into the multifamily market.
