David Winzelberg // July 25, 2024

National meat and seafood market chain Wild Fork Foods has opened a store in Plainview.

The 4,700-square-foot store in the Woodbury Plaza shopping center at 409 S. Oyster Bay Road is the third Wild Fork Foods market to open on Long Island.

The chain opened a 3,000-square-foot location in the Nassau Plaza shopping center at 603 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead in April and last month, another Wild Fork Foods opened a 4,500-square-foot store in the Smith Haven Plaza shopping center at 2075 Moriches Road in Lake Grove.

Headquartered in Doral, Fla., Wild Fork specializes in frozen meat and seafood staples, as well as exotic meats, fruits, vegetables and prepared foods. With over 700 cuts, Wild Fork offers everyday grocery staples like chicken and fish to premium Wagyu and exotic meats like alligator, elk and ostrich.

A subsidiary of food processing giant JBS USA, Wild Fork opened its first stores in 2018 and now has more than 40 stores in Florida, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. The company will also deliver everywhere in the U.S. except for Alaska and Hawaii.

Adam Bass and Eric Gillman of CBRE represented Wild Fork, while Robert Delavale served as in-house representative for the Breslin Organization in all three of the Long Island lease transactions.
