LIBN: Harbor Freight expanding to Sayville Plaza

Harbor Freight Tools, a tool and equipment retailer, is opening a new store at Sayville Plaza in Bohemia.

The company has about 1,200 locations, including stores in Hempstead, Huntington Station, Massapequa, Commack and Bay Shore.

In Bohemia, Harbor Tools signed a lease with Breslin Realty for a space that is approximately 20,000 square feet at Sayville Plaza, which is located at 5185 Sunrise Highway.

Other Sayville Plaza retailers include Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Panera Bread, Jennifer Furniture, The Vitamin Shoppe, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sprint, Floor & Décor, At Home, and Aldi.

Harbor Freight got its start in 1977 as a catalog company. No word yet as to when it will open its new location in Bohemia.
