LIBN: Five Below replacing TJ Maxx at Hicksville center

Five Below, the specialty discount retailer, will be opening a store in Hicksville. 

The Philadelphia-based chain leased 10,500 square feet at the Woodbury Shopping Center at 410 S. Oyster Bay Road. 

Five Below is taking part of the space vacated by TJ Maxx after it relocated across the street to Woodbury Plaza. Five Below’s new Hicksville store is expected to open by early next year. 

Publicly traded Five Below, which offers most of its products for under $5, reported revenue of more than $2.84 billion at the end of its fiscal year in Jan. 2022. The chain has more than 1,100 stores in 40 states. 

Tom Rettaliata and Jeff Howard of RIPCO Real Estate represented Five Below, while Robert Delavale served as in-house representative for the landlord, Breslin Organization, in the Hicksville lease transaction.
