LIBN: Bed Bath & Beyond renews Bohemia lease

Bed Bath & Beyond has renewed its lease in Bohemia. 

The home merchandise retailer will continue to operate the 42,000-square-foot store in the Sayville Plaza shopping center at 5131 Sunrise Highway. 

Bed Bath & Beyond has nine stores on Long Island, after recently closing its Plainview location. The closing of the Plainview store was one of 37 stores the New Jersey-based chain announced it was closing nationwide in the first quarter. In July 2020, the company said it would be closing as many as 200 stores in the next two years, representing more than 20 percent of all its locations.
