GRAND OPENING: Walmart Expanded by 62,450 SF in Farmingdale, NY

GARDEN CITY, NY (August 31, 2020) – Breslin Realty is pleased to announce the upcoming Grand Opening of a 62,450 Square Foot expansion of an existing Walmart store into a Walmart Supercenter at 965 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale, NY.

On Wednesday, September 2, the Walmart at Republic Plaza in Farmingdale will open its highly anticipated new full-service supermarket, as well as an online ordering drive-thru pickup area, new entrance vestibules, and expanded departments throughout the store.

This expansion increases the size of the store by 40 percent, to 219,450 square feet. According to Walmart as of July 2020, approximately 75 percent of their 4,754 U.S. stores are now Supercenters.

Additional Republic Plaza retail includes Chili’s Grill & Bar, Panera Bread, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Halal Guys, Blaze Pizza, Burger Village, AAA, and Bank of America.
