Patch: Umberto’s Pizzeria & Restaurant Coming To Farmingdale
by Michael DeSantis
Umberto’s Pizzeria & Restaurant is coming to Farmingdale.
The eatery signed a long-term lease in the former Bellagio Pizza space at Airport Plaza, Breslin Realty announced. The space is 2,855 square feet.
Anthony Russo of the Breslin organization represented Umberto’s on the lease. Russo told Patch he anticipates Umberto’s will open its Farmingdale digs in the first quarter of 2026.
This marked the fourth transaction that Russo has completed on behalf of Umberto’s of New Hyde Park, the first deal being at Cherrywood Shopping Center in Wantagh in 2002.
The Italian restaurant has five locations across Long Island, including its first in New Hyde Park, which opened more than 50 years ago. Umberto’s is known for their classic Italian entrees, fresh pastas, and signature pizzas, including the grandma pie, which originated at Umberto’s.
In addition to traditional and specialty pies, Umberto’s also offers 16-inch deep dish pies, as well as a few pizzetta options.
