Greater LI: Nordstrom Rack opens Thursday at Smith Haven Plaza in Lake Grove

Nordstrom Rack is continuing its march across eastern Long Island.

Following openings in Bay Shore in 2024, then Holbrook earlier this month, it was just announced that a third Suffolk County location will be opening Thursday, Oct. 30 — this time at Smith Haven Plaza in Lake Grove.

Michael Aievoli of JLL represented Webster Bank, while Robert Delavale served as in-house representative for the landlord, Breslin Organization, in the Port Jefferson Station lease transaction.

That’s according to Breslin Realty, the center’s developer.

The 25,000-square-foot store sits along Route 347 between Moriches Road and New Moriches Road and joins a lineup that includes Trader Joe’s, Old Navy, Shake Shack, Chipotle, Ulta Beauty, Athleta, Men’s Wearhouse, Wild Fork, and an urgent care.

A new J.Crew is slated to follow soon, according to prior reports.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering discounts up to 70 percent on apparel, accessories, beauty, and shoes from brands carried at full-line Nordstrom stores, with services such as online order pickup, the company notes.

Breslin also said a newly constructed 32,000-square-foot second-level space located above Nordstrom Rack is available for lease, with ground-floor entry and a target occupancy in 2026.

The Nordstrom Rack location in Holbrook opened Oct. 2 at the new Shops at SunVet, the former SunVet Mall property.

There are also two longstanding Nassau locations, which are in Garden City and Manhasset.
