PRESS RELEASE: David Orwasher Joins Breslin Realty

GARDEN CITY (May 19, 2017) – Wilbur F. Breslin, Chief Executive Officer of Breslin Realty Development Corp. is pleased to announce that David Orwasher has re-joined Breslin Realty Development Corp. as its new Chief Development Officer.

Early in his career David first served at BRDC as Associate Counsel and Director of Leasing and Brokerage.  Over the last twenty years, David has been developing properties and growing consumer facing brands for national and regional companies in a range of senior management capacities.  Notably, his experience includes taking 2 companies public; Cosi & The Joint…the chiropractic place, where he served as Chief Development Office and Chief Operating Officer and President, respectively, as well as having served as V.P. of Development & Asset Management for Starbucks Coffee.  While at Starbucks, David helped lead the introduction of Starbucks across the Eastern U.S. during its formative growth period and opened over 1000 stores in 17 new markets, including NYC.  David has additionally served as EVP of Medifast, a publicly traded weight loss concern.  He is a licensed attorney admitted in the states of New York and Connecticut, holds his JD from Pace University and his BA from Vassar College.
